About
I grew up in a branding family. I got my start by helping to name first generation Silicon Valley startups around the dinner table. At UCLA I studied design and comparative literature. From there I worked at a few big german design firms with San Francisco offices doing branding and strategy. In 2008 I switched over to A Hundred Monkeys to be the Strategy Director. In 2013 I was promoted to Creative Director. I've worked on hundreds of naming and branding projects for Fortune 50 companies and neighborhood bars.I've been featured in NPR, The New York Times, Monocle, and The Wall Street Journal for naming and branding pieces. In 2014, my naming book, Don't Call It That, was published by Extracurricular Press and became an Amazon best-seller.
