🔹 WHAT IS MY SECURITY BACKGROUND? With ~20 years of experience, I’ve held varying levels of responsibility for the security and safety of individuals, facilities, and property, including operations at a multi-site hotel, college campus with 5K+ enrollees, and military facilities situated on more than 10K acres with almost 100 buildings. 🔹 WHAT MAKES ME A GOOD LEADER? I’ve led large security teams during my tenure with the USAF, creating training schedules, organizing shifts, resolving issues, verifying procedure adherence, and ensuring the safety and security of thousands of individuals. Honored with numerous awards, including “Officer of the Year” for the Security Forces Group. 🔹 HOW ARE MY COMMUNICATION SKILLS? I’ve confidently delivered training programs and oriented new security team members with courses including first-responder, crowd control, and active-shooter education. I’ve developed positive relations with peers, leaders, and those I’m charged with protecting through listening, problem solving, and a consistent presence. 🔹 WHAT EDUCATION/TRAINING DO I HAVE? I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Security Management, Minor in Information Security, and an Associate in Applied Science in Criminal Justice, as well as recent FEMA Training on the Introduction to Emergency Management for Higher Training, FEMA Incident Command System, and Anti-Terrorism training. My specialties include: Security Plan Design, Multi-site / Multi-Facility Security Operations, Emergency Readiness, Program Management, Facility Management, Security Analysis and Preemptive Planning, and Team Leadership
