Elizabeth Brunner, MPA

I’m a recent graduate of the Master of Public Administration program at UNC Wilmington concentrating in Public and Nonprofit Management. In my current role as an MPA Fellow for New Hanover County, I am assisting the Human Resources department with various administrative projects. I oversee the recruitment of Interns, assist in the employee recognition program, and jump into any miscellaneous projects that support the team. I have recently relocated to the Northeast to pursue a career in local government or nonprofit management. I am working fully-remote with NHC during this transition. As a former recruiter and student, I am eager to promote internship opportunities to students in the Wilmington area. Internships enable students to apply what we are learning in the classroom to real-world experiences.
