Elizabeth Dellario

As a critical member of the UX COO team, Elizabeth serves as the lead of UX research operations for Bloomberg's Financial Products User Experience (UX) design team. She is responsible for project management, customer relationship management (CRM) business data analysis, resource allocation tracking and analysis, budgeting, vendor relationships, research participant recruitment, database management and data science (R, Python, Advanced Excel / Google Sheets).Since joining Bloomberg in 2016, Elizabeth has been instrumental in building a dedicated research participant recruitment practice within the greater UX Department. The best practices, procedures and operations systems she has designed for research participant recruitment in the financial technology space are used by UX designers and researchers across the department.Prior to her role in Bloomberg’s Financial Products, Elizabeth worked as a research assistant and project manager in psychiatric clinical research for the New York State Psychiatric Institute at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Yeshiva University. She also completed 52.50 credits towards a Ph.D. in Psychology before deciding to transition to the corporate world.Before pivoting to psychology, Elizabeth worked as a freelance professional costume designer in New York City, including serving as lead designer and costume department manager on shows for the New York Musical Theatre Festival and Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.Elizabeth holds a master's in psychology from the New School for Social Research and a bachelor of science in textiles and apparel / fiber science and design from Cornell University. She is an avid lifelong learner and has been pursuing independent studies in Data Science since 2017.
