About
I currently serve as the manager of Safe Haven, a drop-in center in Madison, Wisconsin for adults with mental illness who are experiencing homelessness. Prior to relocating to Madison from Seattle, Washington I managed the Shelter Program at DESC (Downtown Emergency Service Center), a national leader in housing first and harm reduction approaches. Managing the Shelter Program and being a member of the DESC Housing Leadership Team afforded me the opportunity build skills and experience in program design and implementation, public speaking, advocacy, personnel management, team building, training, crisis response, and effective communication.
