Elizabeth Hincapié Hincapié, LLM

I am lawyer admitted to the bar in Spain and in Colombia and hold a postgraduate degree in Spanish law from the University of Alcala and a LL.M. in German and in international commercial law from the Rupert-Karl University (Heidelberg). I also attended the Duesseldorf Arbitration School and the Arbitration Academy in Paris, becoming its Ambassador. Currently, I am a Ph.D Student at the Goethe University (Frankfurt) and a research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for International Comparative Law, in my research she focuses on international arbitration, human rights, sustainability and climate changes. In the past I have worked for BASF and in the litigation and international arbitration department of law firms, for instance Noerr in Frankfurt am Main and for the International Court of Abritration of the ICC in Paris. I am fluent in German, English and Spanish, with working knowledge in French, Portuguese and Italian.
