Elizabeth Simpson

Elizabeth Simpson is a partner within Heidrick & Struggles’ Financial Services and Private Equity practices and is based in the New York office. She specializes in senior-level finance assignments (CFO, controller, chief accounting officer, director of financial planning & analysis, investor relations, tax, and treasury) for publicly held and privately owned companies within the financial services industry. Her representative client work includes private equity and hedge funds, traditional asset and investment management firms, and investment and commercial banking firms. Additionally, Liz works across private equity where she has participated in numerous engagements at the investment professional level. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Liz was in investment banking at Citigroup/Salomon Smith Barney, where she worked in corporate finance within industry groups as well as in strategy and management positions.
