My specialty is developing innovative organizations, teams, and solutions. I thrive on turning chaos into structure and high-performing individuals into powerful teams. Like most people in this world, I want to be of help. I use my expertise in project management, performance improvement, organizational development, and personnel skills to make a difference. It’s important to me to be of help to both the organization I work for and the people I serve in leadership. Because of this I work to establish trust and open environments through authenticity and genuine caring. I’ve found this to be an effective way to produce outstanding results and develop strong, new leaders in the organization. I am a problem solver. It’s what I’ve always done and is another way I help. My work at NASA, along with other educational opportunities, has helped me refine those natural critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. If I can handle calls from space that say, “Houston, we have a problem,” I know I can handle most anything life throws my way! I also enjoy bringing a touch of creativity to my work. I don’t mean artsy creativity, which I also happen to enjoy, but creative thinking. With a knack for clearly defining and articulating challenges, I facilitate assessments and strategy development with groups in a way that helps quickly identify possibilities, determine what should be done, and move forward with a plan. This applies to both process improvements and strategic planning.
