Elizabeth Vessell

During my time with Girl Scouts, I have been committed to the overall health of the organization. Although, many of my opportunities to influence change have come through a Program department lens, my complete understanding of our vision joined with my objectivity and level-headedness has allowed me to contribute to many cross-functional projects and decisions, with much success. I am often called upon to be a part of work groups to discuss and make descisions on the future of the organizaiton, including deciding the most appropriate paths and strategies, designing new processes, onboarding staff to changes or analyzing our impact on the communities that we are serving. My experiences have also provided me with an understanding of the processes involved with volunteer and staff management. I am well suited to hire, train, manage, and support strong staff and positive role models to further our mission.
