-Elizabeth has completed her Bachelors Degree in Sociology from Brock University, after finishing this program she moved to Hamilton to attend Mohawk College for the Social Service Worker Intensive program to pursue a career in Social Services. Additionally has completed American Sign Language level 1 and 2 at Mohawk College. - Several years experience in working with clients with disabilities, both physical and mental. Working with clients to overcome barriers in employment. Making accommodations to employers, counselling, documentation and action planning with clients. - Experienced in providing deafblind persons with accurate information in an appropriate manner to enable them to make choices, plan future actions, communicate successfully, navigate their environment and achieve independence as possible. - Experienced in communicating in ASL, two hand manual, print to palm and tactile ASL -Several years experience in customer services working at several different restaurants and learning the true value of providing quality service to others. -Has a strong passion for helping others and strives to see clients overcome barriers.
