Elodie Valazza Rufener

I was trained as a laboratory technician in Biology (major in Parasitology and Molecular Biology) at the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland and obtained my diploma in 2007. I pursued my career at Baxter Bioscience in Neuchâtel within the "Quality Control" department of biochemistry. In 2008, I was hired by Novartis Animal Health and work in the companion animal parasiticide group and worked as a study coordinator. I was responsible for the coordination of animal studies (dogs and cats) as well as the management of the study personnel. In 2013, I moved in the target animal study management until 2015. I conducted parasitological, toxicity, pharmacokinetic and palatability studies on target animals, some under GLP conditions that have been submitted to the FDA. In parallel, I was in charge of the ticks and fleas breeding and supported the maintenance of many endoparasitic species.
