Emilia Orellana

I am a New York City-based Data Scientist. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Mathematics from The City College of New York, I completed a 15-week immersive data science program at the Flatiron School. At Flatiron, I developed expertise in data gathering, modeling, visualization, statistical analysis, machine learning, and more. Prior to Flatiron, I underwent an intensive 3-month Peace Corps training. I was based in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, where I assessed students’ literacy and comprehension skills, then analyzed the data to identify areas where they were struggling. I am currently working as a Technical Support Specialist in ALICE by Actabl. I support the Integrations aspect of the App. Which includes the launch of the installations of new PMS integrations and migration onto the ALICE platform. As well as support the integration connection of PMS supported by ALICE platform I’m an eager and agile learner, and I am excited about applying my diverse mix of skills in cross-cultural communication, project development, and interactive data visualization to new projects.
