Emily A. Lilo

I am a bilingual, bi-cultural community engagement specialist passionate about health equity, who has worked in both the public and private sectors, in research, teaching, social marketing, and direct programming, in both the U.S. And Latin America for the past 12 years. I care deeply about environmental, social, and health justice, and increasing equity through building capacity, and strengthening social capital, to boost access and strengthen infrastructure to promote change. I have extensive experience in all aspects of social and behavior change communication from theoretical design to campaign evaluation and everything in between. I love working with community members of all ages, listening to them, and facilitating opportunities to achieve their needs and desires using innovative engaged approaches. I also have experience as a technical adviser, program implementer, evaluator, grant writer, fundraiser, community outreach specialist, and partnership manager.
