I have a B.A. in Communicative Disorders with a minor in Special Education. I am want to get my M.S. in Speech Language Pathology to become a licensed Speech Pathologist. I am passionate about working in early intervention and with elementary school-aged kids. I have observed and instructed children on the Autism spectrum and who have speech delays, learning delays, mobility needs, Down Syndrome, and ADHD. My other related skills are knowledge of AAC technologies and using them for instruction, as well as implementing positive behavior support. I also am a doting Aunt to a beautiful and intelligent nine-year old nephew who is on the Autism spectrum. In my free time I enjoy singing, kayaking/boating, crafting, and researching new information available in the education field.
