I worked in Public Health Marketing for a decade plus and then absurdly and abruptly changed lanes and took those social marketing, social media, public relations, community outreach, program management, event management and strategic planning skills to the performing arts.Turns out I was secretly also a classically-trained pianist who snuck in a vocal pedagogy internship between population-based health interventions.I founded Macondo Music a private music studio to support adults in expanding their piano and voice skills and co-founded Empire Arts Collective a non-profit performing Arts Incubator. Because good things come in threes I also founded and serve as Managing Director and Accompanist for the Empire Pop Choir, a non-audition adult choir that sings fun music with fun people.
