Emily Smith

I graduated from the University of Montana School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, receiving the Vince Wilson Outstanding Achievement Award. This recognition is touted as their "highest honor" given to one member of the graduating class. Higher education was a wonderful experience for me with a wide variety of clinical internships both on-campus and off-campus including inpatient, outpatient, orthopedics, neuro, cardiopulmonary, and wound care to name a few. I was class president for the PT student association and enjoyed any opportunity to get further involved with the campus and local community, as well as honored to be nominated to speak on behalf of my class at graduation. I genuinely enjoy my patient interactions and revel in the challenge presented by this occupation every day.
