Emily Walton

As a Financial Planning Consultant at MassMutual, I work closely with our financial advisors to produce comprehensive financial plans and written recommendations for their clients. I help find solutions for the clients of MassMutual and help them feel comfortable reaching their financial goals. In addition to financial planning, I work with our team to introduce new technologies to the field and train them in our processes. Prior to MassMutual, I began my career at Morgan Stanley working with the Griffith Wheelwright Group. At Morgan Stanley, I was able to establish my base financial planning knowledge and interact with clients to help them to be confident in their financial future. I also had a large role in introducing new technologies to the advisors and establish best practices for utilizing them in our day to day. I received my B.S. From Bentley University in Managerial Economics, a concentration in International Business, and a minor in Finance. I have discovered a deep interest in economics through studying at Harvard University in high school and through my continuation of studying economics at Bentley. I joined Alpha Phi at Bentley and was previously Vice President of Membership Recruitment for their executive council. Through that role, I was able to practice strategic management of multiple teams working to secure common goals, focus on financial budgeting, and organizing and analyzing large scale data on short term deadlines. I remain an active alumnus. Outside of MassMutual, I am a member of the French Cultural Center in Boston. I also remain an active alumnus and volunteer at my high school, Notre Dame Academy. I love to travel, especially to France where I have spent summers for the past 14 years. I also enjoy cooking (thanks to my Italian father) and teach classes at bTone Fitness.
