Emma Dohrmann

I have spent the past four years working with one of the leading heritage architecture teams in South Australia. I have worked across a range of projects involving heritage listed buildings and places, from conservation management plans, to dilapidation surveys and condition reports, to small design interventions, to larger adaptive reuse projects. I enjoy developing my skillset in heritage architecture and strongly believe that my experience in the heritage realm has proven to be a great lens through which to view all other projects, especially when considering research and storytelling, responding to all contexts, and sustainability. I believe that heritage requires you to understand a place, and then do what’s right by it; a good foundation for any architectural project, not just those that are heritage-listed.
