I am an environmental technical manager with over 30 years of experience in environmental data collection for United States government agencies and private sector clients. In the course of my career I have worked as an analytical chemist specializing in oil fingerprinting and environmental pollutant analysis; as an environmental laboratory director responsible for production, quality assurance, and oversight of up to 50 staff; as a field analytical services manager establishing mobile laboratories in remote locations throughout the Pacific Basin; and as a program quality control manager in charge of technical documentation, field data collection, and data interpretation and reporting on numerous complex high-profile contaminated sites. I am a mentor and leader whose strategic planning and organizational skills evolved based on rigorous academic training and mindset, a practical grasp, the concepts of quality control/quality assurance, and extensive field experience.
