I am in a "go between" department, where the claim could be cleared but there are some questions that need deeper probing, and escalating to our SIU department for further handling. Due to the nature of our investigations Reservation of Rights to the company are consistently drafted, and do require proofreading prior to submission, since they are reserving the companies rights. Our deeper investigations include using tools not available to our regular adjusters and any evidence we do find that supports our stance is documented and added to the claim and used as needed. Additionally, if any questionable claims come in with third party exposures and those exposures involve attorneys we are required to keep them up to date on their clients claim with us, in a timely and professional manner
