Eric Calpas

I have acquired a peculiar experience as Manager of program and office but also as technical expert with expertise in the following sector: Research (Baseline, Assessment, Monitoring and Evaluation, Feasibility Study and analysis) and Capacity Building (trainings, and technical accompaniment). Founder of a local firm of which I am the senior technical advisor and Chief Executive Officer. I am a qualitative researcher with a strong expertise in Participatory Methodology (PRA and PLA) but I can do part of the quantitative research in particular designing questions and doing analysis of statistical data. I have excellent analytical skill in particular I am innovative and creative in my outlook of problems or/and issues. I am good at design methodologies and designing tools for project management, Research and Training. I have designed a methodology for training in oral culture such as Haiti, called immediate visualization. I have developed skills in Management in particular I trained small business entrepreneurs in the area of business management; I have done institutional audit for social and private organizations. I am fluent in Haitian Creole and English (French being my mother tongue). I have also expertise in the area of team building and team management, I have recruiter for a US Based firm for 18 months. I write proposal and I have experience in project design. University professor I teach Management, Applied Sociology, Leadership. I am also the head of the business group called CALPAS & PIERRE Investment Group.
