I was with ISR Holdings five and a half years. I started as a Desktop Support Specialist but rapidly started taking over Systems Administrator duties in my first year. Early into my second year I worked as a Junior Systems Administrator. During my time in that position, I migrated all of our northern California office aging servers from Server 2008 to Server 2016/2012. I researched and deployed ESET, cutting our virus and malware infections by 99%. I redesigned the company disaster recovery plan, virtualized our servers and deployed Veeam. I performed a migration of all company PCs from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Through all of these improvements, I additionally cut our IT budget and saved the company $100k annually. After becoming the sole Systems Administrator, I performed migrations and upgrades of our southern California office servers and readied them to become HIPAA compliant and URAC accredited. In addition, I redesigned the disaster recovery plan improving recovery time and ensuring the survival of company data in the case of a major disaster.
