Eric Jones

I have spent the last 10 years working in the music merchandise industry as an entrepreneur, manager, strategist, and innovator. I believe in setting a clear strategy, cultivating strong relationships, and doing the hard work to achieve both professional and team-wide goals. Much of my initial professional experience was accumulated while running my first venture backed company, Sidestep. In that experience, I managed a team of developers, operators, business developers, and marketers, while establishing the strategy and vision towards our goals. Sidestep was acquired by Custom Ink in 2018. I began working for a subsidiary of Custom Ink called Represent (post-acquisition) as their Head of Music. In this role I signed recording artists and entertainers to full-service merchandising deals that covered both e-commerce and touring rights. In this role, I worked with multiple internal stakeholders to hit internal goals while managing multiple external relationships. I’ve since joined Amazon as a Sr. Vendor Manager. In this role, I’ve taken the skills from all previous experiences and oversee multiple merchandise company vendors to have their merchandise available on Amazon and Amazon Music. My primary goal has been to grow each business and work with my team to innovate the music merchandise industry.
