Eric Linder

Eric Linder is a successful political and business leader with a proven track record of solving complex issues and gaining bipartisan support. As a California State Assembly member for the 60th district, representing much of western Riverside county, a suburban region is celebrated for its affordable, comfortable lifestyle, yet it is also plagued by long commute times due to intricate traffic issues. During his tenure in the legislature, Linder demonstrated his ability to address high-profile and complex issues such as co-authoring the Water Quality, Supply, and Infrastructure Improvement Act of 2014, crafting policy for cannabis, and securing funding for California's transportation infrastructure. He served as Vice Chairman of the Committee on Governmental Organization and the Assembly Committee on Transportation, overseeing laws related to highway construction, gaming, alcohol, tobacco, and relations with sovereign Indian Nations. Linder is renowned for his bipartisan leadership style, receiving accolades from leaders on both the left and the right. He was the first Republican legislator supported by the SEIU in over two decades, yet also received support from the California Teacher's Association, and the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association - a diverse coalition of supporters that spanned the political spectrum. After his time in the legislature, Linder returned to the private sector, rebooted eMotiv Marketing and Consulting, Inc., a political consulting and government relations firm specializing in digital marketing and communication. He is a pioneer in the digital marketing industry, starting with managing marketing databases in the mid-nineties, developing his first web application before 2000, and developing social media marketing integration when social media was still new. He was trained in SEO and digital marketing while working at The Orange County Register. He has represented hundreds of clients, including political campaigns, clean energy companies, the cannabis industry, real estate, land use and autism behavior therapists. Throughout his career, Linder has given keynote speeches at several industry trade conventions, and was recognized as Legislator of the Year by Crime Victims United in 2014 for his outspoken leadership on behalf of victims of the Catholic Church sexual abuse scandal.
