I am is an expert in Strategic Planning, Business Strategy, New Business Development, Negotiation, Fundraising and Project Planning. Other areas of strength include Team Leadership, Marketing Strategy and Customer Service. I have wide experience in BOP markets having worked in Microfinance, renewable energy and research at BOP level for over 15 years. Other areas include microfinance operations, capacity building, Monitoring and Evaluation, Impact Assessment and Impact Investing. Currently, I am the Venture Manager for Philips BOP Consumer solar for Africa where I have created distribution networks and viable partnerships at the BOP level to increase access and affordability of solar products to different communities. Before joining Philips, I was the Africa Director for MYC4, an online platform that connects lenders from all over the world with African businesses that are in need of funds to grow where I helped the company mobilize over 20 million dollars for funding of BOP businesses. Mr. Naivasha has vast experience in Africa microfinance landscape and small enterprise development, having done work in over 10 African countries, the latest being in Nigeria, as the Managing Director for Center for Microenterprise Development for 2 years. Previously, the Managing Director for K-Rep Advisory Services during which period he carried over 30 consultancy assignment in business development in a number of African countries and Asia. I am a certified trainer Business and Strategic Planning, Accounting and Financial Analysis, Risk Management, Delinquency Management, Market research, Interest Rate Setting and Product Development. He is also certified trainer for IFC Business Edge.
