Eric Wood

Born in Southern California and raised in upstate NY in between the Finger Lakes, Catskill Mountains, and Adirondacks. I have a deep love of the outdoors and work hard to enjoy my time out there. I have over 15 years of marketing experience to bring to the table. Self taught, I have learned how to market by doing it. Starting on the phones and talking about the products to leading the teams making the calls, to overseeing all of the direct marketing for the company. I have worked my way through the ranks by doing. By doing this I have been able to develop a deep understanding of product, direct, digital, email, and strategic marketing. I have had the pleasure of leading marketing teams to realizing 12% annual growth YoY. We also took an out of the box method to fund our marketing programs, which allowed overall company growth and success in the marketing and sales teams. Well versed in establishing budgets and targets and developing campaigns and programs. Extensive experience in agency management and vendor relations. Most recently I have become more accustomed to the B2C product marketing manager side of things. Establishing a relationship with multiple departments to synchronize and deliver a variety of marketing campaigns across several platforms and mediums. High pressure and fast paced is where I live. Budgeting and forecasting, also adjustments as needed as the marketing cycle matures. As an asset to the team I also create a lot of the weekly reports that are distributed, I also lead the weekly meetings with company leadership. I am always open to new opportunities to expand my understanding of marketing and the various ways there are to market products. I love marketing, I love what I do and its common for me to look forward to a new week and new challenge starting.
