Van Otten is een familiebedrijf dat van vader op zoon is gegaan. Het bestaat sinds 1928, toen Jans van Otten aan de Zuiderstraat in Enter een bakkerij begon. In 1960 werd het overgenomen door Bennie en Marietje van Otten en in 1990 door diens zoon Eric van Otten en zijn vrouw Irma. Toen verhuisde de bakkerij naar de Dorpsstraat in Enter, in 1999 kwam daar de winkel in Goor bij. Sinds 2009 is er een vestiging in Almelo en in 2010 een nieuwe winkel met ijssalon in Rijssen. In 2006 is van Otten uitgeroepen tot de beste brood- en banketbakkerij van Nederland en in 2009 behaalde het team van Otten twee sterren. Een waarborg voor topkwaliteit!
