From the time I was a child, dressing up as a fashion designer on Halloween at 5 years old, I knew I would be a part of the fashion industry. I am an experienced leader in purchasing with 17 years of retail and wholesale experience. As a leader in purchasing, I have worked at several diverse retailers ranging from grocery and specialty to ecommerce, off-price to department stores. In my career I have generated over seven figure revenues in my respective departments and grown businesses year over year. Some of my passions include leading high performing teams, developing employees, strategic business development such as launching new brands and capitalizing on trends, building strong relationships and partnerships both internally and externally and finalizing great win-win negotiations. I’m also a great communicator and love working on teams. My past teams have been high performing and models for other teams in the company. My aspirations include obtaining a leadership position in the retail industry and continue to add value with my data analyst and product merchandising skill sets. I decided to go to back to business school to become a great marketer, develop my management capabilities and enhance my data analytics’ knowledge - all to continue to grow in the retail industry.
