The most exciting of these is our MGA Thermal Energy Storage technology. This is a safe, low risk, high temperature storage solution that provides high energy storage density in macroscopically solid storage modules. The technology can enable 24h base-load renewable energy from the storage of otherwise curtailed solar or wind generated electricity and re-dispatch through high efficiency turbines. It can also capture and store concentrated sunlight in CSP plants for 24h renewable energy generation. Additional applications include the storage of renewable energy for industrial, domestic or commercial heating.
