Erika Orr

Erika Orr earned her J.D. Degree from University of Illinois College of Law in 1998, her M.B.A. From the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2004 and her B.A. From the University of Chicago in 1995. She began her career with some of the world's largest public accounting firms , where she worked for thirteen successful years. Erika believed that in starting her own practice, she could be more effective in helping people deal with a variety of legal issues. In 2011, Erika opened the Orr Law Group and represented numerous clients in complicated divorce, custody and support cases. The Orr Law Group allowed her to fully realize her passion for helping people at all levels of litigation. In 2017, Erika switched gears and successfully campaigned to win a seat as a Cook County Circuit Court Judge and she was sworn in on December 3, 2018. Today, Erika is a Judge in the Domestic Violence Division of the Circuit Court it Cook Cook County and she prides herself on not only being fair and balanced in her decisions, but treating every litigant who steps before her with respect and for demonstrating integrity while on the bench.
