Erin McDaniel, CAPM

I currently hold the position as a Government Accountant in the Accounts Payable department at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). I pay invoices and audit vouchers associated with agency programs, who provide benefits and services to agency clients and employees. I have recently completed the "Project Management Basics" course through Project Management Institute, and have earned my CAPM certification. I earned my BA in International Studies, and a second BA in Spanish at Texas A&M University. I am familiar with communicating in a bilingual Spanish-English setting, as I have done throughout my work and education. In previous jobs, I performed independent research and project management duties for international freight and wildlife projects with Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI), as a student Research Assistant. I then worked seven months with HHSC as a Disaster Assistance Investigator, providing financial assistance to recipients of Texas disaster assistance grant funds in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
