Evan Hansmeier

Having now completed my undergraduate education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I look for new ways to challenge myself to think outside the box to bring innovative solutions to problems that we face today to make for a better tomorrow. Recently I started my own business "Hansmeier Aerial Solutions" which specializes in the collection of aerial images via an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). From these images, producers can view plant stress, spot disease, evaluate stands, and develop better fertilizer and seed prescriptions. With the current commodity markets, growers are turning to technology now more than ever to optimize their operation, and improve their bottom line. Answers to these complex problems can be better answered with the data that is collected by my business.
