Everett Smith

My current goal is to become ISA certified- I will be testing in Concord, CA early next month. I am also considering going back to school to further my education in ways to help further my career in Forestry. I have over 4 years of experience working with Davey Resource Group. Skills I have developed include: tree hazard assessment, database management, customer service and education, working towards solutions to tree work with land owners and municipalities, and navigation skills. I have also developed my abilities to utilize technology to help me get this job done more efficiently, and most importantly, in an organized way. I am passionate about what I do because I see my current job as an important one that is not only dynamic, but always growing in scope and evolving as I continue to learn. Each tree has its own story to tell and a place within it's ecosystem, and my goal as a Forester is to make decisions based upon sound understanding. I am grateful for the opportunity for growth that I have found in this industry and look forward for what is to come.
