During the University, several times I asked myself what my talent was. At that time, I realized I was keen on everything had to do with data analysis and excel, but I was not sure that was enough to get a job opportunity. This opportunity showed up when I luckily met Freudenberg on my way: this German company had no doubt in giving me a chance to put my skills into practice. So I started an internship as SAP key user, and after a while I built a career as Supply Chain Manager, a role that was missing at the Partner Production O-ring Plant in Castelli Calepio. I never thought I could have so much fun working in a plant, as the production is a living organism and it is difficult to get bored! But if that happens, problems become an opportunity for improvements. Therefore, in my about 6 years as Supply Manager, in addition to becoming an expert in formulas and pivot, I also learnt how to coordinate resources, use SAP properly, work in team, build trusted relationships with suppliers, create KPI, take decisions and make strategies. Now it’s time for a new adventure, so let’s see which challenges will bring my new role as SAP Consultant Regarding my expectations, a good and healthy work-life balance has always been an important aspect of my life. I am happy I am keeping running and trekking in a systematic way, both as an “athlete” (even if not with great times), and an organizer, as I am a staff member of a running crew that creates sport events in Bergamo (https://www.facebook.com/WeRunBergamo/?ref=br_rs ). Who knows if one day it will turn into a job as well. Never stop dreaming.
