Fadi Jadoun, Ph.D., P.E., P.Eng.

Fadi Jadoun is a Pavement Management, Pavement Engineering Specialist at Stantec. Fadi's interests are focused on the following topics:1- Pavement Management Systems (PMS);2- Pavement Condition Automated Data Collection (FWD, GPR, IRI, Surface Distresses) and Analysis;3- Pavement Maintenance & Rehabilitation (M&R) Strategies & Recommendations;4- Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design (AASHTOWare Pavement ME Design™);5- Pavement Materials Characterization; and6- Heavy Haul Roads M-E Design.Fadi has extensive experience working with pavement management systems (PMS) across North America. Fadi conducted numerous decision trees development workshops, PMS training, and talked in conferences about pavement engineering and pavement management. Fadi's PMS expertise is coupled with his expertise with the Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide (MEPDG) and its production-level replacement, AASHTOWare Pavement ME Design™. Fadi's strength in the MEPDG stems from his knowledge and experience in pavement materials and truck traffic characterization. Fadi calibrated the MEPDG performance prediction models for flexible pavements in North Carolina to reflect local conditions and materials. Fadi is a licensed professional engineer in the States of Arizona, New Jersey, North Carolina and Texas and in the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia, Canada, Fadi holds a Ph.D. In Civil Engineering from NC State University and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from University of Akron. Fadi had authored and co-authored 14 papers in the Transportation Research Board (TRB), the ASCE and other journals.
