I have a proven leadership background within Response Teams, Neighbourhoods, Grip & Pace, Criminal Justice and in within Public Protection. As a Public Order Commander, I have participated in numerous Critical & Major incidents including on Westminster & London Bridge attacks, NHC & Million Mask March. I have also led the Brixton Splash & Lambeth County Show demonstrating my commitment to delivering service excellence and enhancing my strategic awareness but also proving my decision-making abilities in managing critical risk & long-term problem solving. My policing experience commenced in the MPS spanning across three different BOCUs (Enfield, Sutton & Lambeth). I have led several high-profile projects in multi-agency, partnership & problem-solving arenas including sourcing funding from the Lambeth Council & Business Crime Reduction Partnership to tackle conflicting priorities whilst applying long term prevention methods to significantly reduce crime and ASB in one of the most challenging Boroughs. In addition, I coordinated many agencies and key stakeholders to address the sensitive issue of knife crime and Violence with Injuries. Since joining Surrey Police I have rewritten the Missing persons policy in collaboration with key statutory and non-statutory partners, leading to the success of the Force in improving performance. Alongside this I am also the Regional Lead for Operation Denver coordinated by South East Regional Organised Crime Unit. I am an exceptional leader, problem solver and decision maker with a compelling track record ranging from community safety, safeguarding, public protection, strategic firearms command, investigating & commanding complex, high-risk critical incidents and investigations to transforming operational performance to creating new organisational strategies. My consistent track record demonstrates my passion for development, collaboration and problem solving. As a motivational, visible & inclusive leader, I continually deliver clear and consistent messaging while supporting others through change. I apply evidence-led approach to day-to-day policing whilst bringing a genuine flair for innovation and a strong ability to translate strategies into high-quality solutions. As a senior BAME police leader, I act as a role model to others and through driving outstanding work on Professional Action Learning Sets, I have transformed the confidence and prospects of numerous BAME staff, as well as bringing progression and retention benefits to the organisation.
