Experienced Veterinary medicines academic research with a demonstrated history of working in the molecular and diagnostic virology research and services industry. Skilled in viral vaccine research, public health, clinical pathology, Microbiology, virology and Molecular Biology. Strong academic records, Master from Cairo university, a PhD from South Dakota State University and currently Postdoc focused on Influenza and COVID19 Molecular Virology in St. Jude research hospital. I have strong outreach and public policy leaderships as well as notable volunteer activities for diversity & inclusion in STEM.My research is impacting discoveries in the surveillance and control of new, emerging and potentially pandemic viruses, the development of new diagnostic tools for virus identification, the screening for pandemic potential of influenza viruses, and vaccine development. I contribute daily to the understanding of processes underlying the development and progression of catastrophic illnesses suffered by the children, as well as adults throughout the world. I have made important contributions to the discovery of new tools and assays for better understanding and surveillance of new emerging viruses and their molecular mechanisms. These contributions are directly impacting both animal and human healthcare in the world and will continue to do so in years to come. The professional significance of these discoveries and my contributions to the scientific field are documented by:• About 14 publications of my research work in major peer-reviewed journals (6 first author, 2 last author, and 6 as contributed author).•About 415 citations of my work in peer-reviewed journals of international readership to date including 23 review articles.•An invitation to review for 68 peer-reviewed journals in my field. I am currently an Editor in two Journal. Reviewed more than 19 published manuscript, and 12 rejected.•Membership in 10 professional organizations. Two of them by election and two by nomination.I have been nominated for the AAAS/Science Program for Excellence in Science and elected for the Sigma Xi membership.
