After a 20+ year multiple business transformation roles in FMCG and Consumer Durables I can proudly call myself a growth strategist. In my career, I have executed 300+ Marketing Campaigns, led 200+ employee sales teams, managed 150+ distributors, launched 100+ products. I have excellent business acumen. I’m entrepreneurial.At National Foods Limited, I spearheaded the globalisation of its 45+ distributors in 35+ countries. I also led the brand repositioning of the National category portfolio including the corporate image and multiple product categories. At Ismail Industries as Head of Marketing for the company, I led the brand transformation for the 55+ brands across the confectionery, biscuits, and snacks divisions. Successfully promoted to COO and responsible for the Snackcity Division, I led the turnaround of the company by improving profitability, optimizing sales operations, and enhancing operational efficiency. Most recently as Head of Supply Chain looking after Production Planning, Procurement, Warehousing and Logistics for the company, I successfully navigated the company through the supply disruptions caused by COVID, automated and revamped systems while also delivering Rs.400+ Million in cost savings. I have recently transitioned to startups where I joined Airlift as Global Procurement Lead, but very quickly my responsibilities were enhanced to include the entire Supply for national operations and my role changed to National Supply Lead.I have recently enhanced my qualifications with a 12 month Leadership and Innovation course from Stanford GSB. The curriculum includes courses in Strategic Leadership, Design Thinking, Customer Experience Design, and Innovation covering many business transformation and leadership learnings.In my spare time I can be found reading, running and playing golf.
