That famous saying of, “life throwing you curveballs” has me constantly think that although it’s a great catch phrase, it is not completely correct. What about the fastballs, knuckleballs, screwballs, spitballs, sliders or trying to hit a ball pitched from Fernando Valenzuela who glanced skyward before a pitch, do you look up too or assume it’s a tick? Where the hell is he looking, did he see a bird in the sky? Every pitch that has been sent my way so far, has been met with the ability to assess the situation, excel, better the position, creating some form of teamwork or saving the company time and money. 2016 was an actualization of every possible pitch in my personal life which leads me to look for a more stable hourly job. Give this ambidextrous batter a chance and you will be surprised by the results.
