My colleagues would describe me as a versatile extrovert with a persistent positive attitude, consistent and reliable follow through, and a strong ability to quickly adapt and learn. As an expert emergency nurse, I have learned the value of continued teaching and learning, using new emerging treatments and technologies, and team based leadership. As a senior nurse in my hospital, I successfully implemented new standard operating procedures and training methods for both new and seasoned veterinary staff. My time as a nurse has helped refine my approach to cases and ultimately given me the opportunity to develop as a well-rounded nurse.
