Felton Pierre

Graduate of Florida International University. Writer/Freelancer. Organizer As outlined in my curriculum vitae, I have both standard work experience-- in a variety of fields, ranging from administrative/office to retail/customer service roles-- as well as experience within social justice activism, having had the opportunity to both volunteer, and worked paid positions, for a number of community groups and organizations, from Dream Defenders to New Florida Majority (now Florida Rising) to Sunrise Movement to Friends of the Earth to VOCAL-NY and, most recently, Movement Labs-- on various issues related to socioeconomic inequities, be it voting rights, immigration reform, or climate justice. Career-wise, I'm striving to combine my zeal for social justice with my love of academia, and am working towards further involvement in the nonprofit sector (specifically as it relates to politics).
