I am a Professional Civil/Structural Engineer with over 10 years of experience in engineering, construction, design and leadership in power and petrochemical industries. I am a Registered Professional Engineer in the States of TX, LA, MS and AR. I am registered as a model law engineer with the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) and am an active member of the NCEES Civil PE Exam Committee. As a lead engineer, I have been responsible for coordinating civil/structural engineering and drafting, developing project scopes, design standards, construction standards, cost estimates, man-hour estimates, budgets, and schedules. My assignments have included feasibility studies, fire repair/restorations, structure modifications, expansions, and grass-root facilities. I have experience in all project phases - conceptual to completion. My design experience has been in both the power and petrochemical industries. I am experienced in the areas of steel and concrete design, structural inspection and damage assessment, root cause analysis investigation, finite element analysis, and dynamic analysis of structures and equipment foundations. Projects in which I have had design responsibilities include design and revamp of multilevel structures, building structures, multi-level steel and concrete pipe racks, pipe rack bridge trusses, access platforms, dynamic analyses with multiple pieces of industrial machinery, and fire damage assessment and restoration. My experience also includes development and review of lifting & rigging plans, construction support, and owner’s engineering oversight.
