Forensic and social anthropologist; transitional justice researcher and investigator; advisor and researcher on education for development and human rights, with a specialisation in art and music for human rights; experienced organisational and programme manager for international and national organisations; expert facilitator of participatory processes including strategic organisational and project planning; consultant for international organisations on design, management and monitoring and evaluation of development projects, with a specialisation in human rights and transitional justice; strong record in preparation of successful funding proposals for national and international donors; expert on assessment of development impacts.Guatemalan independent producer, musician and composer interested in the intersection of music and social justice. My work focuses on processes of historical memory and human rights in Guatemala. I have served as acting director of the department of ethnomusicology at the Center for Folkloric Studies (CEFOL) of the University of San Carlos, Guatemala. My songs have been performed at occasions marking important moments in the quest for transitional justice in the post-war period in Guatemala. These included the Emblematic Rulings of Guatemalan Courts on Genocide (May 2013), Sepur Zarco (2016) and on the disappearance of Marco Antonio Molina Theissen (June 2018).
