Filippo Porcelli

Director, writer and TV author, I made television programs (including the cult Blob) for RAI – RADIOTELEVISIONE ITALIANA, film (including the film for the 2000 Jubilee produced by RAI and Agenzia Romana per il Giubileo), projects for Universities (Bologna, Bolzano, Urbino, Foggia, L'Aquila, Cassino), Institutions and Companies (Comune and Provincia di Bologna, Cineteca di Bologna, Regione Emilia Romagna, MamBo - Museo Arte Moderna of Bologna, Fondazione Aldini Valeriani, Mart – Museo di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto). I wrote in newspapers and magazines, including L’Unità, Rinascita, Segnocinema, Scuola Se and La Repubblica.it, and he published his books with Editori Riuniti, Pratiche, Il Saggiatore. Expert in the RAI archive, as communicator and consultant for the RAI – DIREZIONE AUDIOVIDEOTECHE, I worked to enhance the documents. I am among the authors of the Multimedia Catalog inserted by UNESCO in the register of Italian memory. Over time I have create an original and innovative language on the creative use of stock footage and archive materials. I am among the first in Europe to use the AVID digital video editing system for RAI. Of my works (from video art to documentary, to commercials) I am director and editor. My works have been presented at the Mostra Internazionale del Cinema di Venezia, at the Fiera Internazionale di Arte Contemporanea di Bologna, at the Fiera Internazionale del Libro di Torino, at the Roma Europa Festiva, etc. Among the awards: Oscar Tv - Regia Televisiva Award (more editions), Hot Bird Aware 2000 and Certificate of Appreciation 2008-2009 University of California. I am free professor at the University and Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
