Fiona Cope ACA (nee Smith)

As a qualified Chartered Accountant I work within the Accounts and Audit department of UHY Kent LLP an accountancy practice in Sittingbourne which is part of the UHY Hacker Young network. My current work involves: -the preparation of annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and Academies - preparation of monthly management accounts and quarterly management accounts, -Statutory audits for small and medium sized companies and Academies, -Solicitor Accounts Rules (SAR) audits, -Assurance engagements for companies and charities, and -Internal control monitoring for Academies. Previously I was also involved in the bookkeeping for a number of clients and the preparation of quarterly VAT returns, reconconciliations of the bank accounts, sales ledger, purchase ledger. As an Accounts & Audit Senior, I am responsible for the planning and completion of audit work, assurance, statutory and management accounts jobs and for training more junior members of the team.
