R. Foster Duncan

Foster Duncan is an Operating Partner of Bernhard Capital Partners, a private equity firm and is a Senior Advisor to EHS Partners, a management consulting firm. Foster serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at Atlantic Power Corporation and was a recent Member of the Board of Directors at Essential Power, LLC. Foster is also active in a number of civic organizations including the Member of the Board of Directors of the Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital Foundation in New Orleans and Member of the National Advisory Board at the University of Virginia Jefferson Scholars Foundation in Charlottesville, Virginia. Previously, Foster was a Managing Director at Advantage Capital Partners. Prior to joining Advantage Capital Partners, Foster was a Managing Member of KD Capital LLC, an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts &a; Co. (KKR) which he and KKR formed in 2005. Prior to KD Capital LLC, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Cinergy Corporation and he also served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Cinergy’s Commercial Business Unit. Foster also held senior management positions, including Executive Vice President and Chief Ffinancial Officer at LG&a;E Energy Corp. and Freeport-McMoRan Copper &a; Gold, where he was Vice President and Corporate Treasurer and Howard Weil where he was Head of Corporate Finance and served on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. Foster is also a past Member of the Board of Advisors at GridPoint, Inc and the Wall Street Advisory Group of the Edison Electric Institute and as past Chairman of the Financial Executive Advisory Committee of Edison Electric Institute. Foster earned his B.A. degree in Government and Economics with Distinction from the University of Virginia and later received his MBA from the A. B. Freeman Graduate School of Business at Tulane University.
