Fotis Mystakopoulos (but do call him Fotis) is a librarian by design, and an Open Science enthusiast by intention. Having completed studies at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, he identified the developing research support needs in the UK sector, and thus begun developing the skillset needed to help researchers adopt Open Science principles. After 8 years of building friendships, learning English, and supporting academic communities, he decided the cycle was complete, and it was time for a new direction.
