Mr. Campbell is the NC Transportation Operations Manager where he provides operations guidance to over 100 professionals and over 180 projects. Departments he provides operations guidance includes Planning, Roadway Design, Structures Design, Hydraulics and Utilities, Construction Services, Traffic/ITS, and Charlotte Transportation. As Operations Manager, he runs the the overall business for North Carolina Transportation including financial key indicator tracking, project delivery, staff development, implementing practices to improve efficiency, and ensuring staff has the tools to deliver goals, objectives, and projects. He also serves as the NC Traffic and ITS Department Manager for AECOM leading 15+ professionals focused on transportation safety, capacity analysis, traffic signals, ITS, traffic modeling, and traffic forecasting. He also leads Traffic/ITS projects in Tennessee, Maryland, Alabama, Georgia, Virginia, Florida, and South Carolina. Licensed PE in Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Louisiana, Maryland, District of Columbia, Tennessee, and Oregon. IMSA Traffic Signal Level II certified. Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certified by ITE. Roadway Safety Professional (RSP) certified by ITS
