Frances Lacson, MA, LPCC

Frances is a registered psychotherapist, PACT Level I couples therapist, and somatic psychotherapist in training. She believes that healing starts when we feel safe in the presence of another. Thus, she is committed to providing a gentle, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space to support clients in times of emotional hardship and conflict. Frances’s approach to therapy is rooted in patience, collaboration, and kindness. As a somatic and dance/movement therapist in training, she is attentive to how the body, mind, and emotions are interconnected. She incorporates body-centered awareness and movement to help clients access their innate strengths, deepen their understanding of themselves and their relationships, and regulate the nervous system. Frances is passionate about cultural diversity and culturally competent practices and is an advocate for equitable access to services in the mental health care system.
