My previous role was being a Team Leader of an international software team that was in charge to develop and manage common software components to support and share with all the Datalogic Business Units’ R&D teams helping the Datalogic business to grow. I was Team Leader and System engineer of the Aladdin project (all-in-one software to set-up any Datalogic hand held scanner based on Angular + Java). The other role that I covered in Datalogic was SQA Leader of the Datalogic retail hand held scanner projects. And still System Engineer of the software configurator tool Aladdin for the hhs products. I followed all the phases of the software development for the Hand Held Datalogic scanner from the development of the requirements until the software releases. My main accountabilities were to provide and manage all tests product; manage the team of Aladdin development; manage the integration between the R&D department and the advanced manufacturing engineering department; delivering reports about each baseline and benchmark of the competitors products. Managed the Asia test department In El.En. S.p.A. Company I was hardware and software Project Manager of the engraving control system for laser marking application. During this job I developed and managed the real-time embedded board Linux-based: an electronic custom board where there are a TCP/IP server (that allows the communication with the PC to receive all the settings to start the engraving), a high and low level control. I developed the linux thread in C, the high level control, and the real time control (using VHDL and C for Xilinx FPGA and macroblaze). I also programmed in C# to write the dot.net library that allows the customer to connect with the TCP/IP server of the control and sending all the settings to start the engraving. I know very well how to use Visual Studio and Windows Presentation Foundation because I developed a front end that allows to manage the dot.net library and use the engraving control system. I had also the direct contact with the customer to find the best solution about how to integrate the laser engraving system into the OEM machines. So I needed to manage the hardware and software communication between the engraving control system and all the other systems that were present into the customer machine (PLC o PC). I’m able to create a very good feeling with my team and my customers to work together fast and in the best way.
